The Aubagne International Film Festival, run by the Alcimé association, showcases young filmmaking and the relationship between music and image.

Since 2010 the festival has worked with SACEM, with support from the CNC. Since 2013, the festival and the Marseille label Chinese Man Records have teamed up to programme a screening dedicated to an independent band or label, followed by a concert.

For its 20th anniversary edition, the festival offered an exceptional concert, “A tribute to film music”, and two new programmes celebrating director and composer duos.
