Hubris and the Tortoise

This experimental video highlights the gap between the time of the tortoise, in all it embodies of the natural, the animal and the symbolically slow, and the time of human beings who, caught in a frantic race towards “progress”, exacerbate violence and the destruction of our natural environment, and even of our own nature, so eager are they to escape it.
